Car Jack Streets PSP
A conversion of the iPhone/iPod Touch game Car Jack Streets originally developed by Tag Games. Working with Tag Games I developed this for Sony’s, at the time new, PSP Minis range of games. I was the sole programmer on the PSP side of the project and the game was released June 2010
Honours Project – Cityscaper
A procedural road generator developed for my honours project.

Solarbound
My first full game project. Working as Programmer and Team Leader in a team of 8 I designed and developed Solarbound. Solarbound is a PC based Space-set combat game in which the player flies around killing enemies, forming planets out of their debris and flying round this planets to gain enough momentum to escape the solar-system. The game was built using the OGRE engine. Now for some videos:
For this project I did everything except: the camera, the user interface and Xbox controller support. Everything else you can see in the video is my own code.
Bezier Rollercoaster
This is an app made in OpenGL designed to show my skill with Bezier curves. It uses both Bernstein polynomials or the De Casteljau algorithm to draw the Bezier curves of the track and then places a ball on the track and uses physics to move it along the track in a realistic manner. The application allows you to join Bezier curves together and also to join them together with C1 continuity (i.e. there isn’t an abrupt change in gradient at the connections). Anyway, here’s a video:
Procedural Terrain Generation Program
Terrain generation program that used Fractal Brownian Motion and faulting to create realistic looking landscapes. Using OpenGL for the graphics.
Biplanes Vs Aliens
Programming in which two rival squadrons of aircraft have a battle. Pretty much a tech demo for the combat in Solarbound and also used to show off my DirectX skills since it uses DirectX for the graphics. It’s a bit of an old program now and it has a fair few aspects that I would’ve done very differently but I’ll post the video anyway. Please bear in mind though that this work is over a year old now.
Snowy River
A PS2 program which rendered a flowing river by a forest with snow gently falling. This was used as a tech demo to show off my 3D PS2 skills.
